Application contest for Topical Seminar: “Update your History & Culture”
The Topical Seminar “Update your History & Culture” will take place in Riga, Latvia, on June 26-28, 2018.
The Seminar is dedicated only to the teachers already registered on the eTwinning Plus platform.
At the Seminar, the participants:
- will learn innovating methods of teaching history and culture through eTwinning projects;
- will draft eTwinning project sketches or an information resource to improve the quality of the lessons (it will be later displayed at the exhibition of the projects devised at the Seminar).
The applicants must:
- speak English (compulsory);
- teach students aged 7-18;
- be interested in launching projects with partner schools;
- have information technology and communication (ITC) skills;
- have the ability of setting up and run eTwinning projects;
- participate in disseminating successful practices;
- not have participated in any eTwinning international event for the last three years
- (exception – holders of EQL and NQL awards, the 2017 edition);
- have biometrical Moldovan passport or Romanian passport.
Target group: experienced eTwinning teachers teaching history, culture and civilization, philology and arts.

The costs related to the participation in the event shall be covered by the East Europe Foundation (PSA Moldova) with the support of the European Commission from the Swedish Government’s funds.
