New educational projects initiated by teachers from the Republic of Moldova
On June14-15, 2018, a group of three teachers from the Republic of Moldova participated in the fifth edition of the thematic Conference: «Learning, teaching, exchanging – school cooperations in the Danube Region”, which took place in Vienna, Austria.
The conference goal was to reunite the teachers from the Danube region in order to enhance collaboration and form new partnerships in the educational field.
For two days, 50 teachers, participants from 11 Danube region countries, have received training on diversification of teaching methods as well as work tools, strategies and possibilities for cooperation in the educational field in the Danube region and have taken part in diverse workshops concerning the www.etwinning.net platform.
After taking part in the event, the teaching staff from Moldova have established and registered cross-border projects on the eTwinning portal. The following projects are among those established by teachers from Moldova: «Our garden our world”, ”Cultural Heritage Exchange” etc., where teachers undertake together with the pupils and partners from Austria, Croatia, Romania etc., to carry out collaboration, learning and exchange activities beginning with September of this year.
This event has been a good opportunity to transfer knowledge/good practices between teaching staff, which work in different educational systems, and, on the other hand, served as a starting point for the development of new common educational projects.
The eTwinning Plus is part of the Erasmus+ program funded by the European Union. The projects is co-financed in the Republic of Moldova by the Swedish Government. The Ministry of Education of the Republic of Moldova named the east European Foundation as the National Support Agency for carrying out of eTwinning Plus projects in the Republic of Moldova.
