eTwinning School Certificate
The eTwinning Center launched the eTwinning School Certificate Campaign to recognize and appreciate the work, involvement and enthusiasm of eTwinners, teachers and principals from the same educational institution.
The application period for this new award lasts from December 2017 to March 2018.
The eTwinning School Certificate is awarded following a two-stage evaluation process.
In the first evaluation stage, schools must meet simultaneously three criteria:
the school institution has been registered on the eTwinning platform for at least 2 years;
the school has at least 2 active eTwinning teachers on the platform;
at least one European eTwinning project that has been awarded the National Quality Label in the last two years since the submission of the application was implemented;
Stage two: If all conditions are met, each teacher in that school registered on the platform will be invited to fill in the self-evaluation form available on the eTwinning Live, which covers the following 6 criteria:
- responsible use of the Internet;
- active collaboration;
- student involvement;
- participation in eTwinning educational events;
- public exposure to eTwinning involvement
- activities to promote the eTwinning Action
