Application contest to the Thematic Conference 2018

The national Support Agency eTwinning Plus Moldova launches an application contest for the participation in the Thematic Conference titled „Empowering eTwinning schools: management, teaching exchanges”. The event will take place May 14-16, 2018 in Rome.
The overall Conference objective is to identify and promote element that describe eTwining schools to develop them inside and outside the schools. Only schools, which fully leverage the obtained results, will be able to act as models, promotors and multipliers for other schools.
The Conference has the following objectives:
– to reflect on issues concerning teaching, organization, communication and promotion of eTwinning schools ;
– to equip the participants with tools and methods to influence the success of eTwinning school in order to become “a stronger educational organization”;
– to endorse the idea of a network of eTwinning schools;
– to create the necessary conditions for further development of the eTwinning schools concept.
Applicants’ eligibility criteria:
- Must be a fluent speaker of English (mandatory);
- Must make a presentation in English on its experience within the eTwinning project from the leadership point of view; the applicant shall present this report during the Conference;
- Must have experience in implementing eTwinning projects;
- Must be interested in starting projects with eTwinning.net partner schools;
- Must be a confident user of communication and information technologies (CIT);
- Must be able to set up and carry out eTwinning projects;
- Must take part in good practices sharing activities;
- Must not have participated in the last three years in an international eTwinning event (exception – holders of EQL and NQL, 2017 edition);
- Must be holder of a biometric/ Romanian passport.
Target group:
- school manager that did not obtain the title of eTwinning School 2018;
- teaching staff (that do not hold management positions) which work in institutions that have obtained the title of eTwinning School 2018;
The selection results will be announce on the national eTwinning website – www.etwinning.md.
The East European Foundation (PSA Moldova) will cover the cost of participation at the event.
Teaching staff, interested in participating in the seminar, are invited to submit their letter of intention (in English) at info@e-twinning.utm.md indicating the topic info@e-twinning.utm.md with the reference: Application Thematic Conference Rome.
