“Be an eTwinning Ambassador – 2018” Campaign

News

The East Europe Foundation (PSA Moldova), appointed by the Ministry of Education to coordinate the implementation of the eTwinning program in Moldova, launches the Campaign “Be an eTwinning Ambassador – 2018”.

An eTwinning ambassador is a person who promotes and shares his/her passion for eTwinning, the ambassadors are eloquent about eTwinning and recommend enrolment on the platform that now has more than 565467 members. eTwinning ambassadors help ensure the sustainability of the programme, develop and maintain partnerships in education. Given that the ambassadors work as a first point of contact with eTwinning of many teachers, it is important for them to have excellent communication skills and in-depth knowledge of the eTwinning mechanism, and to be available to promote the programme at the national level.

Participation conditions and unfolding:

  1. The teacher must be registered on the platform etwinning.net and must have attended at least 5 eTwinning projects.
  2. The teacher must write at least two eTwinning presenting articles, displaying his/her own experience in running eTwinning projects.
  3. The written articles must be original (no overlapping with texts already published is allowed) and consistent (must have at least 500 words). In order to be taken into consideration in the 2018 campaign, the articles must be published in 2017. The articles must be written in Romanian or English. The two articles should be preferably published on different platforms/websites. Articles published with identical texts on several platforms shall not be accepted.
  4. The teacher must speak English, enabling him/her to attend on-line training courses dedicated to eTwinning ambassadors.
  5. Previous participation in eTwinning events (both national and international) represents an advantage.

Application deadline – April 30, 2018.

The contest results will be published on the program web page www.etwinning.md.

Teachers participating in eTwinning, who are eligible and wish to be appointed as the “eTwinning Ambassador”, are kindly invited to fill in the Application Form and send it to info@twinning.md, with the subject: Application: Be an eTwinning Ambassador – 2018.

Good luck!
